P.P. Cobb Trading Company View this post on Instagram P. P. Cobb is the oldest continually operated commercial building between St Augustine and Key West. Since 1882, it has been serving the community from its convenient location adjacent to the docks. First as the "Everything to Eat, Wear, and Use" PP Cobb Trading Post (and post office!), and now as several offices and a small breakfast/lunch spot that also sells a few typical "general store" items (and some not-so-typical ones, too!). The Fort Pierce Audio Tour has some wonderful history to share, talking about how the cow hunters would gather here before heading out on their cross-state drives. • • #ppcobb #tradingpost #mercantile #history #fortpierce @fortpiercefl @flhumanities @floridahumanities @floridamainstreet @mainstreetfortpierce #walkingtour #listenandlearn #blueskies #LoveFL #floridacrackertrail A post shared by Sara | RV Travel in the US (@thelonglongroad) on Feb 18, 2020 at 7:48am PST
