Fort Pierce Inlet State Park View this post on Instagram We made our way over the causeway to Fort Pierce Inlet State Park. They have sandy beaches (no dogs) and shady trail (pups welcome). We hit Red Bay Run, where I learned a humourous tidbit about the Gumbo Limbo Tree, and the Coastal Hammock Trail, where the flyer listed 16 different educational stops, including the Beautyberry. We saw some pretty flowers, enjoyed the shady, breezy side of the RV, and, overall, really enjoyed our visit. They have passport stamps for about six parks in the office, none of which display any better aim than this one 🤣 Some of the Rangers/volunteers challenge themselves to attain perfection, others just get it done 😆 • • @fl.stateparks #fortpierceinlet #statepark @fortpiercefl #takeawalk #learnsomething #walkthedog #lookatthebeach #fromafar #LoveFL #floridacrackertrail A post shared by Sara | RV Travel in the US (@thelonglongroad) on Feb 12, 2020 at 2:17pm PST
