Wingate Creek State Park View this post on Instagram Wingate Creek State Park is an "under development" unit with no facilities. They have the passport stamp at Lake Manatee, and I hate to "stamp-and-dash", wanting to at least *see* the places for which I've collected cancellations! I thought I'd be able to do one of the hikes, but took longer on the Gopher Trail than expected. Plus, Herbie wasn't looking to eager to venture out again (snoring under the passenger seat). We did stop for a look, though, and grabbed some helpful photos to add to Google Maps. I didn't see any "No Overnight Parking" signs, and was tempted, but I had another idea, and one more stop to make along the way. • • @fl.stateparks #wingatecreek #lakemanatee #quickstop #hikingtrails #flatland #wildfire #noshade #newpark #underdevelopment #myakkacity #LoveFL #floridacrackertrail A post shared by Sara | RV Travel in the US (@thelonglongroad) on Feb 8, 2020 at 4:13pm PST
