Bradenton Post Office View this post on Instagram To go into town, or not? I waffled for awhile this morning, debating a drive into Bradenton right up until the last mile. I opted in. It was busy, there was construction, traffic was heavy…it's good to remind myself now and again why I don't normally hit up "big" towns (or small cities – take your pick!). Don't get me wrong, it's lovely, historic, beautiful, and there's so much to see and do! There's just too many other people there doing it, too, for my liking. • • I stopped short of crossing over to Anna Maria Island, choosing to forgo Gulf of Mexico views, settling instead for the post office. It's old. It's photogenic. But I couldn't step back far enough to get a decent shot for fear of being smacked by a car on the busy street. If you're in a smaller vehicle, and/or don't mind crowds, Bradenton really is a nice spot to explore (museums, cafes, parks, the Riverwalk, the old depot, shops, and the cool post office!). I did make one other stop on the edge of town. Coming up next! • • @visit_bradenton #bradentonarea #oldflorida #gulfcoast #thepostalproject #postoffice @uspostalservice #busybusy #LoveFL #floridacrackertrail A post shared by Sara | RV Travel in the US (@thelonglongroad) on Feb 7, 2020 at 7:03pm PST
