Hardee County Courthouse View this post on Instagram I paused at the Hardee County Courthouse in Wauchula for a few pics. It's a rather domineering structure, set in a wide open park that really shows it off. Info signs with QR codes are generally a clue that there's some sort of walking tour, so I stopped by the Chamber, hoping for enlightenment. At a little past four, they were closed, despite the 5 o'clock posted time (always a possibility in the smaller towns, as anyone who is civically active tends to be *very* civically active, with meetings and committees galore). Same situation at the Main Street Association office, although they looked to be having a meeting (possibly involving the Chamber folks). They'd have let me in, but I didn't want to distract since I'm planning on a revisit this trip. Fingers crossed I have better timing! • • @visithardee @mainstreetwauchula @visitwauchula #courthouse #walkingtour #LoveFL #floridacrackertrail #illbeback A post shared by Sara | RV Travel in the US (@thelonglongroad) on Feb 7, 2020 at 12:06pm PST
