Generally, at Walmarts, spots to walk the dog are slim pickings. Not so in Rockport, not by a long way! The circa-1930s Historic Shellcrete Park is adjacent, close enough to wander over. For those preferring paved ambles, they've got that, too, along the Tule Creek Hike & Bike Trail. We sought refuge from the still-frigid winds, and stuck with the wooded and creekside paths of the old park. A lovely morning, to be sure!
