Rotary Park View this post on Instagram Leaving Del Rio, heading east, we crossed a little bridge, and I spotted a park. With water! Stopped for a walk and a splash, and I noticed the stream seemed quite violent, honestly. Cascading rapids and roaring eddies. I checked my 1947 American Guide on the off chance Del Rio was covered, and how about that! The only tidbit was about this very waterway – the San Felipe Springs, flowing at a gobsmacking 50 MILLION gallons a day (at least back then). Explains the violence! • • @visitdelriotx #rotarypark #sanfelipecreek #springs #oldguidebook #citypark #goforawalk #takethedog #traveltexas #homefortheholidays #floridabound A post shared by Sara | RV Travel in the US (@thelonglongroad) on Dec 10, 2019 at 6:38pm PST
