North Cascades NP – Visitor Center View this post on Instagram Hiding behind the North Cascades Visitor Centre is the Sterling Munro Trail. A 6' wide, 300' long boardwalk that has a whopping 5' elevation change – it should *not* be missed, but is easily overlooked. At the end, you get this amazing vista of the Picket Range. • • Inside the VC, there's plenty of historical displays and photographs, a neat bird finder, lots about the flora and fauna of the Park, and, perhaps my favourite, a giant Banana Slug 😁 • • @ncascadesnps @nationalparkservice #visitorcenter #newhalem #takeashortwalk #seemountains #scenicvista #bananaslug #historicphotography #cascadeloop #visitwashington #feelingloopy A post shared by Sara | RV Travel in the US (@thelonglongroad) on Sep 1, 2019 at 9:42pm PDT
