Concrete Post Office View this post on Instagram Concrete, Washington. The town name was dreamed up by the sewing guild when the area was first settled by Europeans back in the early 1800s. Kidding 😜 No, it was the cement production center for the nearby Diablo and Ross dams – aptly named. • • There's a lovely big grassy area near the silos, also aptly named: Silo Park. I kinda love the sensibility in this town. The post office has some gorgeous picture windows, overlooking…the road. The mountain vistas are mostly behind it. • • #concrete #silos #thepostalproject #postoffice #postoffice #smalltown #history #cascadeloop #visitwashington #feelingloopy A post shared by Sara | RV Travel in the US (@thelonglongroad) on Aug 31, 2019 at 8:47am PDT
