Concrete Post Office

Concrete, Washington. The town name was dreamed up by the sewing guild when the area was first settled by Europeans back in the early 1800s. Kidding 😜 No, it was the cement production center for the nearby Diablo and Ross dams – aptly named. • • There's a lovely big grassy area near the silos, also aptly named: Silo Park. I kinda love the sensibility in this town. The post office has some gorgeous picture windows, overlooking…the road. The mountain vistas are mostly behind it. • • #concrete #silos #thepostalproject #postoffice #postoffice #smalltown #history #cascadeloop #visitwashington #feelingloopy
