I bought a carrot 😳😂 • • Actually, I bought four. For $2. All about this big. Thinking I may make carrot cake. And carrot bread. Maybe carrot and raisin salad. Probably throw some in the steamer. Any ideas for the 3 I'll have left? 🤣 • • While we were out on our nature hike at Pioneer Park, the RV was spotted by a couple that started following me along the Old Spanish Trail in north Florida last year (howdy! 👋). After a quick exchange of messages, I was more than happy to wait around until they'd finished enjoying the Hardee County Wildlife Refuge (two more fans, if you've been waffling about going). That slight delay allowed another message to reach me from an RVing family that I'd met at a Walmart in…one of the lower 48 states last year (👋 thanks for the tip) ! They'd just been through Wauchula, and suggested this fruit stand opposite the post office as a great stop (you may see a secondary reason why in some of the photos 😋).
