Manatee Village Historical Park

View this post on Instagram

I found the end! Or the beginning! (Or the middle, in my case 😆). Manatee Village Historical Park is considered the western terminus of the Florida Cracker Trail. A good spot to visit when travelling the route. A good spot to visit, even if you aren't. There are a ton of historic buildings, museum displays (I especially appreciated all the info on Florida Crackers and the Cracker cattle) in the old mercantile/hotel, and friendly, informative volunteer tour guides willing to show you around and give you some fascinating insights. 100% recommended. The grounds are shady and dog friendly (just no pets inside the buildings), meaning it wouldn't be intolerable during the summer. • • @manateevillage #historicalpark #history #terminus @visit_bradenton #manatee #trains #crackers #theothersideofflorida #LoveFL @visitflorida #floridacrackertrail
